“Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing.”
We know there is no “one size fits all” church. Finding community is a vital part of doing life in faith and in the community, and we know that many times when people first come to faith or move to a new city, they start looking for a church home.
New Life Church, Hampton’s Coliseum-area church, is a loving congregation that brings people together for teaching, prayer and fellowship. We would love to invite students, military families and people of all walks to check out New Life Church as a part of your search!
Services: Our Sunday service includes singing and Bible teaching. Our praise style is an act of worship to God; feel free to sit, stand or dance. This is followed by giving and a 45-minute message. Our weekday services vary from Bible studies at a local coffee shop to intercessory prayer.
Dress: You are welcome to “come as you are” to any of our services. Some of our members wear their Sunday’s Best to worship, while others prefer to be relaxed and comfortable. Whatever you choose, all we ask is that your attire is respectful.
First Time Visitors: Those visiting New Life Church for the first time are treated to a welcome package during service. After Sunday worship, we ask that our visitors stay for a brief 15-minute personal welcome from Pastor Rogers.

God has blessed this union to raise two children, Vermond and Nikki.
Arthur accepted the Lord at a very early age and has always had a zeal for the things of God. Arthur Rogers was licensed and ordained as a Minister at New life Church in the year of 1985 under the leadership of the late Bishop Lawrence Lewis. He was later ordained to the Eldership. Establish the fact that you have a personal relationship with God which give you the right to address him as Father. How did such a relationship come about with God that we are able to call him Father.
ROMANS 8 :14-17
1 JOHN 3:1-2
WHICH ART IN HEAVEN:
Acknowledges the fact that God is exalted above all. It speaks to his supremacy, his Lordship, acknowledges that He is not a man but God and it speaks to majestic rule and reign over all creation. He is highly exalted above all principalities, powers, authorities, all forms of government in heaven, on earth and under the earth. He is God that rules from his exalted throne.
HALLOWED BE THY NAME: a time of praise and worship
Holy, reverence, sacred, worthy, esteemed, righteous,
Deserving honor and respect
Not be violated, criticized or tampered with,
Not be taken lightly.
THY KINGDOM COME
This speaks of his spiritual rule In the hearts of those who have received him. In order for one to be a part of the kingdom they must submit to the King of the kingdom.
THY WILL BE DONE:
Praying that God’s perfect will be accomplished on this earth as well as as in the world to come. One thing we have to realize is that God uses his people to accomplish his will. We need to ask God to lead and guide us so that we will have knowledge of those things that he have provided for us to accomplish his will and purpose. We find oort what the will and purpose of God is through prayer and his word. It is during prayer and the studying of the word that we are being changed in our thinking and our actions.
GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD:
Shows the Lord that we are depending on him to meet our needs on a daily bases. We acknowledge that he is our source. Even though God has given man the ability to get wealth, we must never come to a place that we feel that we are own sustainer and can make it apart from God. For God is the one that will supply all our needs according to his riches in glory. This day bread is not just food but for everything that we will need throughout the course of a day.
FORGIVE US OUR SINS: AS WE FORGIVE OTHERS
We need to be remained that God has forgiven of our sins through the blood of his Son, Jesus Christ. There are times that we will sin but as we acknowledge our sin the blood of Jesus continues to wash us clean. And the same way that God has forgiven us, we need to walk in forgiveness toward one another. Peter asked Jesus how often should I forgive my brother when he sins against me 7 times. Jesus said 70×7 as many times as they need to be forgiven. That is the same grace that God extends toward us.
LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL:
We need to own up to the fact that we are all tempted. Even Jesus was tempted by the Devil but yet he did not sin. As long as we are in these bodies we will face temptation. We need to ask God to help us to realize what is happening at the time the temptation is taking place. Jesus told his disciple to pray so that they will not be tempted. What he was saying was pray so that when temptation come you will be able to stand. God has provided a way of escape with everything temptation we face. We can come bodly before the throne of grace that we n might find help in our time of need. God has the power to keep us from falling into sin in this present world.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:12-13
The thing to focus on is the fact that God can keep you in the hour of temptation not being scared to death that you might fall. You need to God conscious not sin conscious. Sin consciousness keep you condemnation but God consciousness remind you of His love and out of your love for him you walk in obedience.
FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, POWER, AND GLORY:
When it is said and done, Lord everything belongs to you. The Kingdom, the power and the glory. The earth is the Lords and the fullest thereof. All creation declare his handy work and his glory.
